This is a connector cap for modular jacks used in various electronic devices such as telephones, fax machines, telephone exchange equipment, computers (PCs), modems, POS cash drawers, and many other communication devices, available in 2-pin, 4-pin, and 6-pin configurations. It is suitable for dust protection, preventing contact failure, avoiding issues caused by incorrect cable insertion, and protecting the product. Since it does not have a knob for pulling out, it is also suitable as a simple security measure by using it as a blank cap (cover) for maintenance ports or to cover unused ports, thereby restricting free use. (There is no locking mechanism.)
